A new range of Paton garden productsPaton Fertilizers has just released a revolutionary new range of gardening products in a unique granulated form. The new range comprises six products, Multicote, Epsom Salts, Vigour, Native Plant Food, Flowering and Fruiting Booster and Complete Trace Elements. They retail at less than $10 and are available in 850 gram canisters.
Multicote is a multipurpose four-month controlled-release plant food suitable for a wide range of outdoor plants.
Epsom Salts is a highly soluble magnesium sulphate formulation which prevents and corrects magnesium deficiencies.
Vigour is a premium, low-salt, complete compound formula that promotes more vigorous healthy growth for most outdoor plants including Australian natives.
Native Plant Food is an organically based, low phosphorus supplement for Australian native plants.
Flowering and Fruiting Booster promotes more vibrant blooms and improves fruit quality.
Complete Trace Elements prevents and corrects trace element deficiencies.

Sweet Pea 'Renaissance''Renaissance', a newly-released sweet pea from Yates, has been bred by Dr Keith Hammett in New Zealand. Keith has successfully combined the good perfume and bicoloured characteristics of early sweet peas with the large, ruffled blooms that became popular with later breeding. 'Renaissance' is a mid-season variety which means that it will bloom in spring.
A sunny, well drained and sheltered position is preferred, running in a north-south direction.

A Fantastic foliage from Ball AustraliaAlready known for many successful lillypilly releases, Syzygium 'Cascade' and Syzygium 'Little Gem', Limpinwood Gardens Nursery is now offering a beautiful new selection of Syzygium luehmannii.
The new varieties feature pendulous growth, narrow leaves and colourful new growth from deep purple to shades of pink as the growth matures.
S. 'Weeping Gem' matures to 2-3 metres in height with a spread of 1.5m. It makes an ideal hedge, can be pruned to a specific height or grown as a single specimen. White flowers are followed by bright red edible berries that are ideally suited for bush food, jams and sauces. It is also suitable for pot culture.
Other lillypillys in the 'Gem Collection' include, Syzygium luehmannii 'Northern Gem', S.apodophyllum 'Copperhedge', and the soon to be released Syzygium 'Aussie Gem'.

Pansy 'Cutie Cats'These enchanting smaller flowering pansies come in five delightful colour mixes and their cute little whiskered faces will purr with delight from garden beds and flower pots.
'Cutie Cat Felix' has purple to rose pink margins and paler centres, 'Cutie Cat Oscar' comes in shades of rosy-pink to dark merlot with lighter centres, 'Cutie Cat Rosie' comes in shades of rose-pink, with petals that lighten to soft lemon to white centres, 'Cutie Cat Merlot' is the darkest of all, featuring shades of wine pink and 'Cutie Cat Sapphire' has lavender-purple edges and soft lemon and white petals.
The Cutie Cat collection represents the best of new breeding. Plants are compact and won't stretch as the season progresses, but they have good vigour and are disease-resistant. Lavender 'Lace' series
Two new-release lavenders following from the bloodline of PGA's popular Lavender 'Lace' are L. 'Violet Lace' with deep violet coloured flowers, and the softer lilac hues of L. 'Winter Lace'. The three now form a range as they are all early flowering lavenders beginning from early winter. The two new additions also exhibit the same compact habit as 'Lace'. Ideal for winter colour in gardens or tubs and a select choice for the waterwise gardener.
