Blagdon - Hydratech Cyclone FilterA great new range of pressurised filters has landed from Blagdon in the UK. The innovative design offers all the advantages of a pressurised filter without the need for frequent cleaning. They are all that your customers will require to maintain a clean and healthy pond.
As dirty water enters the generously sized canister, a cyclonic flow clumps suspended particles which settle to the bottom without blocking the foams. This optimises the foam surface area usage.
The unique layout of the high surface area foam with coarse, medium and fine foams gives seven times larger surface area than some other similarly sized canister filters.
The final stage of filtration is a high powered UV with unique high efficiency built-in ballast. The UV is simple to change and the easy-clean cyclone backwash system speeds the removal of waste after cleaning.
These filters are realistically sized with a pond capacity of up to 20,000 litres and, being pressurised, can be placed anywhere near the pond.

9214 Servo-boosted Grass Shears ...The new Servo mechanism Grass Shears from Fiskars have been designed specifically to prevent jamming. No more stopping to pull the shears apart to clear the blockage, the Servo-boosted Grass Shears spring open cleanly and easily every time.
Traditional shears use two springs - one to keep the cutting edges together, the other to return the blades to the open position. The new Servo mechanism eliminates all this as the blades open and close from two directions.
Lightweight, the Servo-Boosted Grass Shears also feature an adjustable cutting angle, so they can be used vertically or horizontally with just a turn of the blade.
Ideal for trimming small sections of lawn around trees, between pavers or under garden seats and benches, the Servo-Boosted Grass Shears trim and shape at any angle with just a twist of the blade.

Grevillea 'Orange Box' hybrid selection(G. victoriae x G. juniperina prostrate)
The `box' in the given name actually refers to the suitability of this variety for shaping because it has inherited characteristics from both parents providing that necessary attribute for successful hedging.
Once developed, a dense shape can be maintained with a twice-a-year `short back and sides'. Any more simply removes the bright orange flowers which dot the mid-green foliage for much of the year.
As a more informal shrub, 'Orange Box' grows to around 90cm x 90cm, filling that high demand niche for small grevilleas which flower for a long time. It grows well in full sun or light shade, thriving in cool to sub-tropical and semi-arid climates, in moist well drained soils. Hardy to frost and heat.
