| Fleming's Nurseries returns to the world famous Chelsea Flower Show this year, making it's third appearance at this coveted event.
The Fleming's Nurseries 2006 Australian Garden presented by Trailfinders, has been designed by award-winning landscape designer, Dean Herald, from Rolling Stone Landscapes based in Sydney. The garden which will highlight the passion Australians have for outdoor entertaining, is an adaptation of Dean Herald's multi-award winning garden which won a gold medal at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show in 2005.

Dean's design takes the great Aussie BBQ concept to a new level completely. The garden incorporates a fully functional outdoor kitchen complete with a sunken lounge and dining area. A teppanyaki cooking plate, fridge, sink, benches and storage cupboards are all sheltered under a timber gazebo. An outdoor fireplace with the quintessential stack of firewood as a wall feature, means the garden can be enjoyed all year round.

Grasses and flaxes form the major part of the planting reflecting the trend towards complementary and contrasting foliages with a mixture of textures, shapes and sizes. The garden will be low maintenance and waterwise, reflecting Australia's concern for water conservation.
Fleming's Director, Wes Fleming is excited about returning to Chelsea.
"Dean and I were in the UK in January to brief international media and we have no doubt that the Australian Garden will turn heads. The response has already been extremely positive. Not surprising really because Australia's outdoor lifestyle is the envy of anyone living in the UK. The garden combines life with style in the best possible way."
"Fleming's aim is to showcase Australian horticulture and design at an international level," Wes concluded.
The Chelsea Flower Show runs from May 23 - 27 incl. in the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea.
