The new Flower Carpet 'Scarlet'

There is a new addition to the Flower Carpet series and it's a stop-everything and 'look-at-me-red'!

Thirteen years after the release of the first pink Flower Carpet, this new, double Flower Carpet 'Scarlet' is possibly the best since the original FC. 'Pink'. Tough, frighteningly robust, easy to grow, disease-resistant and covered in waves of flowers from spring through to autumn, this groundcover rose, (like all the other Flower Carpet roses), has a lot going for it -it also likes the heat!

Flower Carpet 'Scarlet' can be pruned with hedge clippers. The spent blooms self clean so there's no need for dead-heading. It will romp along with regular feeding and irrigation, but once established it will suffer neglect with surprising grace and beauty.

Like it's fellows in the Flower Carpet stable, 'Scarlet' hails from German breeder, Noack Rosen who, 36 years ago, began work to breed roses which modern gardeners - people with less time and expertise, would simply love.
