| The Home & Giving Fair on 21-24 February 2009 at Sydney Showground will give nurseries ideas and guidance on colour with presentations by America’s leading colour expert from the Pantone Color Institute.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, will be conducting presentations at the Fair to help provide inspiring tips on the use of colour to improve your business.
A colour consultant to many industries, including gift, the home and sectors such as nurseries, Leatrice has written seven books on colour, the latest being Color Messages and Meanings. She is also a colour forecaster, traveling the world to gather information on colour direction.
“Everyone in the gift and home business needs to educate themselves and stay on top of the latest colour and style directions,” says Eiseman. Her presentations at the February Home & Giving Fair are directed towards retailers such as nurseries in relation to preparing displays and staying one step ahead of the customer. “It’s important to gain a greater understanding of trends,” says Eiseman.

Eiseman explains her presentations will be based not only on upcoming trends, but most importantly, the source of those trends.
“This will help explain colour directions so attendees will have some idea of where to look for the influences,” she says.
